Stingray Digital, the leading provider of multiplatform music services for Pay-TV operators worldwide announced it will be launching Concert TV titles on Rostelecom’s VOD service in July. Concert TV is a video on demand service dedicated to delivering the most exhilarating live music concerts from some of the best internationally-acclaimed bands and artists.
“This is a historic first deal for Stingray for distribution of our music services in Russia,“ said Eric Boyko, President and CEO of Stingray Digital. “We had identified Russia as a key growth market for our services, and Rostelecom is an ideal partner for us to make this first important step,” Mr. Boyko added.
Rostelecom is one of the largest national telecommunications operators in Russia and Europe, covering more than 34 million households and with more than 2 million IPTV subscribers.
Concert TV has live music for lovers of any type of music. Fans from every generation and of every musical genre will be able to choose from a wide selection of concerts for rent on VOD. Bands appearing on Concert TV include: Bon Jovi, Rhianna, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Who, Rolling Stones and more. The concerts will be refreshed monthly so there are always be new artists to discover.
