CVTCORP, a worldwide leader in\u00a0advanced engineering and the design and manufacture of mechanical continuously variable transmissions\u00a0(mCVT), shared the stage with Skyjack to launch their joint participation in the development of a\u00a0mechanical CVT solution for their new TH series of Telehandlers. This announcement marks the first\u00a0commercial introduction of the EcoMec 150 mechanical CVT transmission in the construction industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis collaboration with Skyjack is the first application of our new EcoMec 150 mechanical CVT that will\u00a0give Skyjack users a new definition of power and improved operator control. Once an operator uses a\u00a0Skyjack TH telehandler with our CVT transmission, the operator will see important gains in productivity\u00a0due to the improved functionality of the telehandler\u201d, said Daniel Girard, President and CEO of\u00a0CVTCORP.\u00a0\u201cOperators will also see dramatic fuel and time savings using our CVT technology since it\u00a0allows the operator greater power at lower engine rpm\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brad Boehler, Linamar Skyjack Group President said, \u201cSkyjack and CVTCORP have agreed a program to\u00a0develop a continuously variable transmission solution for the TH series.
