OnMobile appoints François-Charles Sirois as non-executive Chairman of its Board

OnMobile Global Limited, a global leader in mobile services, today announced the appointment of François-Charles Sirois as non-executive Chairman of its Board. Mr. Sirois, who was named on the Board on June 26 of this year, replaces Mr. H.H. Haight who served as the Company’s Chairman for the period, 07 December 2011 – 20 August, 2014.

The Managing Director and CEO Rajiv Pancholy welcomed the appointment of Mr. Sirois, and said “Mr. Sirois brings extremely pertinent experience of having founded and run successful companies in the media and technology domains. His knowledge and insights will be invaluable in planning and navigating the next phase of our growth.”

Mr. Sirois is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Telesystem, a global media and technology holding. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of OnMobile Systems Inc., the largest shareholder of the Company.

Mr. Sirois also serves as Director on the Boards of various companies, including Telesystem, Zone3 Inc., Stingray Digital Group Inc. and iPerceptions. In keeping with his strong sense of community, he also serves on the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation board and lends his support to a wide range of worthwhile causes. Mr. Sirois possesses a BAA in Finance and Marketing from HEC Montreal.
