OnMobile appoints François-Charles Sirois as an Additional Director to its Board

OnMobile Global Limited (‘OnMobile’/ ‘Company’), a global leader in telecom value-added services (VAS), today announced the appointment of Mr. François-Charles Sirois as an Additional Director of its Board. Mr. Sirois is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Telesystem, a global media and technology holding. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of OnMobile Systems Inc., the largest shareholder of the Company which recently increased its shareholding by about 10% through a voluntary open offer process. Rajiv Pancholy, the new Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has also been appointed on the Board of Directors and as Managing Director. Meanwhile, Mouli Raman, the erstwhile Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of OnMobile, has decided to step down from his position on the Board.

With more than 15 years of experience in corporate mergers, acquisitions and financing, Mr. Sirois has earned an enviable reputation for having developed successful joint ventures. His entrepreneurial expertise and innovative partnerships have enabled Telesystem to leverage and capitalize upon the momentum in the media and technology industry. Mr. Sirois also founded Microcell i5 Inc. and Masq Inc., and served as President and Chief Operating Officer for both companies. He was the President and Founder of Up2 technologies Inc. from 1998 to 2000.

Mr. Sirois possesses a BAA in Finance and Marketing from HEC Montreal.
