February 25, 2016Stingray Digital Group Inc., (TSX: RAY.A; RAY.B), a leading business-to-business multi-platform music and in-store media solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Alejandra Olea as General Manager, Latin America, effective immediately. Mrs. Olea brings close to 15 years of business development, sales, and content distribution experience in the television industry. In her position, she will spearhead Stingray’s next phase of growth in Latin America and help bring out the company’s full potential in the market. She will be based in the company’s Miami office.

Mrs. Olea has worked in nearly every major capital city in the Latin American region and maintains relationships with leading distributors, programmers, brands, and media organizations worldwide. Most recently, Mrs. Olea held the position of vice-president integrated sales – content, channels, format and co-production at BBC Worldwide. She began her career in television with content distributor Tepuy (now Telemundo Internacional). She has also held positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment Television and DIRECTV Latin America. Mrs. Olea is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
Stingray is also pleased to announce that its former General Manager for Latin America, Gustavo Tonelli, will remain within the Stingray family, where he will develop and produce exclusive content for various initiatives in Latin American markets.
