François-Charles Sirois has more than 15 years of experience in corporate mergers, acquisitions and financing. His entrepreneurship expertise and talent for developing successful joint ventures with innovative partners have enabled Telesystem to leverage the momentum in the media and technology industry. Before joining Telesystem, he managed joint venture and real estate investments. He also founded and led up2 technologies, Microcell i5 and Masq.
Mr. Sirois is currently Executive Chairman of OnMobile Global Limited and Chairman of Stingray Digital. He also serves on the boards of Telesystem, iPerceptions, Zone3, the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation and Alpine Canada Alpin.
Charles Sirois is Chairman of the Board of Telesystem, and Founder and Chairman of Enablis. He is also Associate Founder of Tandem Expansion Fund, and Co-Founder and Chairman of Pangea Agriculture Group. Over the course of his career, Mr. Sirois led BCE Mobile Communications and Teleglobe as Chairman and CEO. He also founded Telesystem International Wireless and Microcell Communications (Fido). Mr. Sirois sits on the Board of Directors of Rogers Communications and chairs the board of the Fondation de l'entrepreneurship. He is a recipient of the Orders of Canada and of Quebec. He was inducted into the Canadian Telecommunications Hall of Fame and holds five honorary doctorates.
Denis M. Sirois has over 15 years of experience in investment management and corporate finance. During the course of his career, he has been involved in numerous investment transactions involving companies of all sizes, from start-ups to large caps. Denis started his career with BCCL, where he was appointed President in 1993, before he moved on to Exaclan, a private holding company, where he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment portfolio. Denis sits on the boards of Telesystem, Exaclan, iPerceptions, Prevtec Microbia, Hortau and Opsens.
Chicoutimi businessman Simon Sirois grew up in Sainte-Angèle-de-Mérici, on the Gaspé Peninsula, the oldest of 11 children. He was bold, forward-thinking and creative – a risk-taker with a sharp entrepreneurial mind and a keen interest in new technologies. This interest led him to found Setelco, a pioneer in paging systems, in which he sensed a huge commercial potential. In addition to this, he owned a consumer credit reporting company and a seniors’ residence and actively invested in the raw materials market.
On the home front, Simon was a family man, with three children: Charles, Claire and Josée. He and his wife, Colombe, wholeheartedly embraced the values of giving back and reaching out to others. As such, they took in Simon’s younger brother, Denis, while he was studying in Chicoutimi, at the request of their mother, for whom education was a top priority. Simon took his son, Charles, under his wing at a very young age, teaching him the ins and outs of the business world and laying the foundations for the entrepreneurial tradition that has come to be associated with the Sirois family.
Daniel Cyr has more than 25 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting as well as corporate finance, coupled with extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions and private equity investment. Before joining Telesystem, he worked with Steinberg and Coopers & Lybrand. Daniel is a member of the boards of Zone3 and Woozworld. Daniel is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
David Bernardi has more than 25 years of experience in product development, project management and venture capital. He has headed up large software development teams in Montreal and India in a multi-site, multi-schedule environment. He has provided technical and program governance for the world’s only civilian data satellite constellation. As a consultant, he has helped major telecommunications carriers re-engineer their operations for speed and efficiency. His experience also includes negotiating complex international joint-venture agreements and providing technical and commercial guidance to various projects and start-ups. David is a board member for Averna Technologies, Broadsoft, CVTCORP and Fox Group.
Michel Cordeau has more than 35 years of experience in corporate, securities and commercial law (mergers, acquisitions and venture capital investment funds). He has extensive experience as corporate secretary for public and private corporations. Prior to joining Telesystem in 1996, Michel was a partner with the law firm of Hickson, Martin, Blanchard. He is a member of the Quebec Bar and the Canadian Bar Association.
Josée Dumais has evolved with Telesystem since 1992. She has held a variety of positions within the finance team, culminating in her appointment as Senior Director, Finance, in 2003. In this capacity, she oversees financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting and other administrative responsibilities. Josée started out as an external auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She developed her financial expertise working on the audits of prominent clients from a wide range of industries. Josée is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
Michel Bissonnette began his career in advertising and moved over into television in 1993, assuming executive-level positions in communications, marketing and content development at major TV outlets. At the turn of the millennium, Michel teamed up with three other forward-looking media entrepreneurs to found Zone3. He has been a key driving force behind the success of this powerhouse in the Canadian TV, film, digital and live entertainment industry.
Eric Boyko co-founded Stingray in 2007 and has led the company through rapid growth and diversification to become one of the largest and most innovative streaming music companies in the world. He first proved his mettle as a digital entrepreneur as the founder and president of eFundraising.com, which he started up in 1991 and sold at the height of the Internet boom. Eric is a Top 40 under 40 honouree. He also sits on the board of the Montreal Development Program, the Business Development Bank of Canada and the Montreal Economic Institute.
Rajiv Pancholy is a seasoned telecommunications industry’s expert, possessing over three decades of leadership and executive experience. Earlier in his career, Rajiv served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Microcell Connexions Inc., Canada's fourth largest national wireless operator, better known by the brand name “Fido.” He also served as President of TTP Media, which he founded, as CEO and Chairman of TenXc Wireless Inc. and as President and CEO of Mitec Telecom Inc. His industry expertise was leveraged by the Telecom Policy Review Panel, launched by the Government of Canada, where he served as a special advisor.
Jocelyn Boudreau oversees business development, coordinates the head office team in Quebec City and manages the company’s U.S. operations, based in California. Prior to co-founding Hortau, he worked in a variety of fields, including engineering, applied research and technology transfer, and was involved in the launch of state-of-the-art irrigation technologies.
Michel Fortin is the chief architect of Prevtec Microbia's business, marketing and financial strategies. In collaboration with Prevtec scientists, he is also responsible for negotiating agreements on intellectual property, research contracts and strategic partnerships. Selected by the company founders for his business acumen, he led the financing and the commercialisation of its first product, Coliprotec. Today, he focuses on marketing and product distribution strategies, and on the development of international markets. Before joining Prevtec Microbia, Michel was a sought-after corporate finance and business management consultant. He managed complex financial transactions, boosting the success of organisations operating in the sciences sector. Michel is a CPA member of the board of BIOTECanada and BIOQuébec as well as of several Canadian Animal Health Institute committees.
Involved in the machinery business for most of his life, Daniel Girard identified the need for innovative, flexible CVTs capable of meeting industry demands. At CVTCORP, that he co-founded, he is responsible for corporate development and fundraising, as well as playing a lead role in transactions with major original equipment manufacturers.
A serial entrepreneur and executive, Audry Larocque has helped build several successful companies in the high-tech, mobile and Internet ecosystem since 1999. Most recently, Audry co-founded Neuralitic, where he spent 5 years as CEO, growing the company and positioning it as a business intelligence leader in the wireless space. Under his leadership, Neuralitic filed over 22 patents and marketed its products in over 20 countries.
Before, he co-founded and spent 5 years as CEO of Cilys, a wireless software infrastructure vendor, Audry was integral to the acquisition of Cilys by Openwave Systems in January 2005. He also co-founded Deuteron Acquisition, a Canadian leader in wireless and RFID solutions, which was acquired by Epsilia in 2008.
Dale Quayle is a 25-year veteran of the enterprise software industry. Dale understands the needs of businesses and has been helping customers take advantage of innovative new solutions throughout his career. The convergence of transformational technologies with the needs of enterprises is an area where Dale’s leadership has allowed innovative new companies to succeed. He has held a number of executive positions at both private and public high-tech companies. In 2000, Dale was instrumental in the sale of the network performance management company Trinagy Software to Hewlett Packard. Most recently, he was the President and CEO of Integrien, a California-based performance analytics software company that was sold to VMWare in 2010. Dale also is the Chairman of the Board of Univa, a Toronto-based high performance computing company.
Louis Têtu is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coveo. Prior to Coveo, Louis co-founded Taleo Corporation, the leading international provider of on-demand Internet software for talent and human capital management, acquired by Oracle in 2012. Louis held the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors from the company's inception in 1999 through 2007. Prior to Taleo, Louis was President of Baan SCS, the supply-chain management solutions group of Baan, a global enterprise software company with more than 5,000 employees. This followed Baan's acquisition of Berclain Group inc., which he co-founded in 1989 and where he served as president until 1996. Louis is an Engineering graduate from Laval University of Canada and, in 1997, was honored by Laval for his outstanding social contributions and business achievements. He received the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award in the Technology and Communication category. Louis is also Chairman of the Board of PetalMD, a developer of social platforms for the medical sector, and serves on the Board of the Quebec City international airport authority.

Brent Belzberg has over 30 years of executive management experience in finance, operations and acquisitions. In 2001, he founded TorQuest and is currently Senior Managing Partner. TorQuest, based in Toronto, manages in excess of $700 million of private equity funds, principally in Canada. TorQuest and its predecessor Harrowston have managed over $1 billion of private equity capital with a focus on buy-outs and growth investments across a broad range of industries. Brent is a director of CIBC, Associated Brands, DayMen Lowepro, Herbal Magic and Global Traffic Technologies. He was previously a director of Four Seasons Hotels, O & Y REIT, CNC Global Ltd. and GCAN Insurance Company.
